Abstract

These presentations aim to 1) explain why gender is important to Save the Children's work, explain how to mainstream gender, present the gender and power analysis framework and how to integrate gender equality into current and future programmes; 2) define disability, impairment, inclusion and share the guiding principles for working with children with disabilities, Save the Children's policy on disability inclusion and the disability-inclusive child safeguarding toolkit; 3) explore effective community mobilisation and engagement for community-led and collective action, and social behaviour change and communication.
